Notify Influitive
Now you will need to contact Influitive Support (support@influitive.com) to enable the Integration from the back-end for your AdvocateHub. Influitive will need your Kotis Design API key which you should be able to obtain from Kotis Design.
Once we have completed this step, the two systems should be connected and ready to go and all that is left to do is to build out the Influitive rewards.
Configuring Kotis Design Rewards In Influitive
1. The first checkbox you will see on the Fulfillment tab indicates whether you would like this process to be fully automated or you would like to manually approve the redemption.

If the box is checked it means you will need to approve the redemption when someone requests the reward. To do this you can click the green Approve Without Fulfilling button under the Rewards section of the Items To Review area of your Admin Dashboard.

If this box is not checked, the redemption will be automatically sent to Kotis Design and fulfilled in Influitive so there is no action required.
- Also on the Fulfillment tab of the reward creation page, you need to choose the 'Manual' radio button:

3. On the Headline tab of the reward creation page, scroll down to the 'Auto Fulfillment Data' section and enter "Kotis" in the Provider field and your Kotis Design SKU/Item ID in the Sku field. You are free to fill out the rest of the field on this page however you like:

4. On the Redeeming tab of the reward creation page, scroll all the way to the bottom and ensure the Shipping Information checkbox is enabled:

You can ignore this section if the item is just a mug or some other non-wearable item that will not have a size associated with it but if there is a size you need to ask them what size they want and give them the potential answers in a dropdown as shown below - this data must be exact . For example, writing ‘Small’ instead of ‘S’ won't work as that is not the format that Kotis uses.

How It Works
Now that everything is set up you are ready to go! When an Advocate requests a reward in Influitive we will check with Kotis Design to make sure the item requested is in stock. If it is not in stock we will decline the redemption with a note explaining why and the Advocate points will be returned. If there is stock, we continue to create the order with Kotis Design.
We will then mark the redemption as ‘fulfilled’, closing the loop. If the order is canceled in Kotis Design at any time after this point then the Admin will need to manually give the points back to the Advocate.
Remember, if you have checked the checkbox that says 'Administrator Approval Required' then you will need to automatically approve the redemptions before we create an order with Kotis Design. If this box is not checked then everything will be fully automated.

What should I do if an item is out of stock when an Advocate requests a reward?
If an item is out of stock, the redemption will be declined, a note explaining the situation will be provided, and the Advocate's points will be returned.
Is manual approval required for all reward redemptions?
Manual approval is only required if the 'Administrator Approval Required' checkbox is selected during the configuration process. If it is not selected, the process can be fully automated.
What happens if an order is canceled in Kotis Design after it has been marked as fulfilled?
If an order is canceled after being marked as fulfilled, the Admin will need to manually restore the points to the Advocate's account.
Can the redemption process be automated in Influitive?
Yes, the redemption process can be automated by leaving the 'Administrator Approval Required' checkbox unchecked. This will allow redemptions to be sent directly to Kotis Design and fulfilled without further action.
