About Rewards

Rewards can range from company swag to dinners, training sessions, or charity donations. To learn about perks, see this article. In the Admin View, navigate to Program and select Rewards to access the Add a reward button and the Reward Template Library. For more details on creating a reward from scratch, refer to the Create a reward from scratch link.

Note: The Reward Template Library offers pre-filled ideas for rewards, including headlines, images, and descriptions. These templates require manual fulfillment by the Program Manager and do not include automatic integrations.

 

Setting up a Reward

Upon choosing a template or creating a reward from scratch, you'll be directed to the reward edit page with sections for fulfillment, headline, redeeming, and eligibility. For automated gift card fulfillment via Tango Card, refer to this guide.

Fulfillment

The Fulfillment section allows you to choose between Manual or Tango Card fulfillment methods. Each option has specific criteria, such as selecting gift cards and setting values for Tango Card fulfillment. For manual rewards, you can require administrator approval for each redemption.

NOTE: It is recommended to require administrator approval for gift card redemptions to prevent abuse. First-time redemptions by users who did not join via invitation require administrator confirmation as a fraud protection measure.

Headline

Define the reward's Name and Description, and categorize it by Type. Add Reward Types in Your Hub's Settings for administrative clarity. Assign an image to visually represent the reward and decide whether to feature it prominently or include a disclaimer.

Redeeming

Define how Advocates can win the reward, either through a catalogue with points or as a Perk for specific challenges. Include options for customized information or shipping address requirements.

Eligibility

Target rewards to specific groups or individuals based on criteria such as region, behavior, or responses to questions. This allows for precise control over who can see and redeem rewards.
