Active Campaign and Google Analytics

A UTM parameter is a tag added to a URL that allows Google Analytics to track website visits from various campaigns and communication channels. When a link with a UTM parameter is clicked, it sends the data to Google Analytics, which then logs it as a traffic source.

ActiveCampaign's Google Analytics Integration

ActiveCampaign's integration with Google Analytics automatically adds UTM parameters to links in your campaigns and automation emails. This feature is enabled individually for each campaign or automation email. For more information on the Google Analytics integration, click here .

ActiveCampaign's Attribution Feature

The Attribution feature in ActiveCampaign, available for Professional and Enterprise plans, also utilizes UTM parameters to track which traffic sources contribute to conversions. To learn more about how UTM parameters are used in Attribution, click here .
